Return & Refund Policy – James Boyd Photography

Thank you for shopping at James Boyd Photography. We value your trust and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully, as different product types have different conditions.

 

1. Prints & Fine Art Prints

  • Made to Order: Each print is created specifically for you once an order is placed.

  • Returns/Refunds:

    • We accept returns only for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

    • Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery with photo proof of the issue.

    • If approved, you may choose a replacement or refund.

  • Non-Returnable:

    • We cannot accept returns for “buyer’s remorse” (change of mind, incorrect size ordered).

    • Custom-framed or special-size prints are final sale.

 

2. Digital Downloads

  • Due to the nature of digital products, all digital download sales are final.

  • No refunds, returns, or exchanges once the file has been delivered.

  • If you experience an issue with downloading your file, please contact us and we’ll assist you.

 

3. Custom Orders                                                                                              

  • Custom photography services or special-order prints require a non-refundable deposit once production begins.

  • Refunds are not available once work has started, unless the order cannot be fulfilled due to circumstances on our end.

 

4. Workshops & Courses

  • Refunds are available if canceled at least 150 days before the event.

  • Cancellations made 90 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • No refunds for cancellations made less than 90 before the event, but you may transfer your spot to another participant or to another course/workshop date.

 

5. Shipping Issues

  • If your order is delayed, lost, or damaged in transit, please notify us immediately.

  • We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.

  • Once delivered to the provided address, we are not responsible for theft or loss.

 

6. How to Start a Return/Refund Request

To request a return, replacement, or refund:

  • Email us at info@jamesboydphotography.com with your order number and photos/supporting documentation.

  • Once your request is reviewed, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection and next steps.
